Fuel card fraud detection for vehicle fleets
Record fuel transactions and FleetSense compares each purchase with the vehicle GPS history. If the car was nowhere near the pump, the transaction is flagged with the reason.
What you get
Transaction records
Card or reference number, amount, liters, odometer and purchase location, entered from a receipt or imported.
GPS cross-check
Each purchase is compared with the closest GPS position within 60 minutes.
Distance rule
More than 5 km apart sets Possible Fraud.
Plain-language reason
The flag names the distance and the time of the matched position.
Optional location
If no purchase coordinates are entered, the check is simply skipped.
Built on your tracking data
Uses the GPS history already collected by Fleet Tracking.
Frequently asked questions
Does it connect to a fuel card processor?
No. Staff enter or import transactions, and the GPS cross-check runs on those records.
How is a purchase flagged?
If the nearest GPS position within an hour is more than 5 km from the claimed pump, the transaction is marked as possible fraud.
Does it need GPS tracking?
Yes. The check compares purchases with the vehicle GPS position history.
