Frequently asked questions

How do I know which customer got a traffic fine in a rental car?

Log the fine against the vehicle with the exact violation date and time. FleetSense finds the contract that had that vehicle out at that moment, even if it is closed, and fills in the customer.

What if the fine arrives weeks after the rental ended?

Matching uses the violation date and time, not the date you received the fine, so late fines still land on the right contract.

Can I charge customers an admin fee?

Yes. Each fine has a fine amount and an optional processing fee, billed together on a single invoice.
