The idea

A calendar due date ignores how hard a vehicle is driven. FleetSense computes the average daily kilometers over the last 14 days from GPS history.

It projects the date the service limit will be reached and flags the schedule when that is earlier than the calendar date.

Calendar and odometer schedules continue to work normally.

Is it a black box?

No. It is a plain, explainable average of recent daily kilometers.
